Rahm Emanuel Visits 50 Wards In 50 Hours

Over the past two days, Rahm Emanuel criss-crossed Chicago, visiting all 50 wards in 50 hours. Rahm stopped at local schools, restaurants, and businesses in neighborhoods across the city to listen to voters and discuss their ideas for Chicago.

On Tuesday, Rahm went to grocery stores, bakeries and popular eateries including Kasia’s Deli (1st Ward), Atotonilco Mexican Restaurant (22nd Ward) and MacArthur’s Restaurant (28th Ward). Rahm also visited students at Nettelhorst Elementary School (44th Ward).

Wednesday morning, after greeting customers at Englewood's King Coffee House (20th Ward), Rahm joined Chicago Bears defensive end Israel Idonije at Banneker Elementary School (6th Ward) to speak to students there. Later in the day, Rahm visited the site of the old USX South Works mill (10th Ward). Rahm ended his day at the Dank-Haus Cultural Center in his home ward, the 47th.
