MACY’S PASSPORT PRESENTS GLAMORAMA

HITS ARTRAGEOUS FOUR-CITY TOUR
Cee Lo Green headlines 13th annual fashion extravaganza with Far East Movement,
benefiting Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana

Macy’s Passport Presents Glamorama 2011 four-city tour hits Chicago at The Chicago Theatre on Friday, August 12th at 8PM, bringing high fashion and fierce performances together for one ARTrageous night. Multitalented singer, songwriter, producer and musician, Cee Lo Green, known for his most recent chart-topping hit “Forget You” as well as for co-writing and singing Gnarls Barkley’s “Crazy,” will headline the 13th annual event. Also set to perform is electro-pop quartet Far East Movement who shot to fame with chart-topping singles, “Like a G6” and “Rocketeer.”

This over-the-top event will once again benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana (RMHC®-CNI.) “We are proud to partner once again with Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana as proceeds will directly fund the new Ronald McDonald House near Lurie Children's which will be the world’s largest Ronald McDonald House," says Martine Reardon, Executive Vice President of Marketing and Advertising for Macy’s.

Experience fashions on models featuring hair and make-up by Joseph Michael Salon and Lancôme, all set against an artistic backdrop with collections from Armani Jeans, BAR III, Jean Paul Gaultier, Marc Jacobs, Papi, Sonia Rykiel and Tracy Reese, as well an advance look at the Karl Lagerfeld for Impulse capsule collection launching at the end of August only at Macy’s. Mike Gansmoe, Macy’s VP of Special Productions, says “Fashion is truly a kinetic form of art. It's always moving, always inspiring and ever-changing. As a background to the designer looks on the runway, the audience will enjoy a powerful visual show inspired by the arts. From Degas to Banksy, ballet to breakdance and everywhere in between, Macy's Glamorama should prove to be an incredible journey.” Following the ARTrageous show at The Chicago Theatre, explore a city block long ARTlandish after-party on the 7th floor of Macy’s on State Street. Various art interpretations lend to the décor theme. Relax in ultra-cool sponsor lounges. Interact with fun activities from a unique photo op to renowned silhouette portrait artists. Enjoy a vast array of delicious culinary creations and special libations guaranteed to tantalize the palate. Dance the night away as DJ Rex's sound scape lures you to the dance floor or continue to mingle and find your own muse.

Macy’s partnership with RMHC®-CNI continues to grow in 2011 with a portion of the ticket proceeds from Macy’s Passport Presents Glamorama benefiting the efforts to build the world’s largest Ronald McDonald House that will be located in downtown Chicago. “We are very fortunate to have committed partners like Macy’s who are willing to invest so much of themselves in our mission” said Doug Porter, CEO RMHC®-CNI. “In 2010, Macy’s helped provide over 4,000 nights of care and comfort for the families of children seeking medical care and we are honored that Macy’s has again selected us as their partner for this amazing event.”
