Chicago's Sweetheart Jennifer Hudson Performs at 2012 Taste of Chicago

Chicago’s sweetheart Jennifer Hudson kick off the 32nd Annual Taste of Chicago this year in Grant Park on Wednesday July 11th.

Hudson, introduced by Mayor Rahm Emanuel, commanded the stage dressed in short shorts and a black leather top and performed hits “We Gon' Fight and "and "No One Gonna Love You". Hudson also covered hits by Aretha Franklin and the late Whitney Huston.

The incredible performance helped downplay the lack luster attendance due to the city’s decision to sell tickets for this year’s performances that have usually been free. R&B newcomer Luke James opened for Hudson.
