November 22, 2012 (Chicago, IL) - For 32 years the Laugh Factory has been hosting free Thanksgiving and Christmas meals for those in the Hollywood community who are needy, lonely, or simply away from home. As part of its introduction to the community, the club’s founding owner Jamie Masada has announced that this tradition will start in Chicago. Festivities include performances by top comedians, and a turkey dinner with all the trimmings.

Using the power of laughter to turn loneliness to joy, the club will be transformed into a holiday wonderland where people from all walks of life are welcome to come and enjoy the turkey, the stuffing and the laughter. Paul Rodriguez – a first class comic as well as Laugh Factory Chicago partners – is leaving his family and loved ones in Los Angeles to celebrate with his new found family in Chicago.  Joining him will be various Chicago celebrities, including news anchors and athletes, who will be dishing out the food.

"Spending the holidays alone is no laughing matter," has become Jamie Masada's yearly mantra. "We welcome anyone to take a seat at our table, and celebrate with our family of comedians and friends.”
