Allen Hughes and Mark Wahlberg (January 6, 2013 - Chicago)

Mark Wahlberg and Director Allen Hughes are mobbed by fans and autograph hunters at Special Chicago Advance Screening Of “Broken City”

Yes, you are reading it correctly, when Mark Wahlberg and Allen Hughes showed up at the theater, the fans were on top of the two taking photos and asking for autographs.  In addition to the formal photos of the star to sign, quite a bit of people had gloves for Walhberg to autograph.  I admit, Mark Walhberg could not be more than inviting to everyone who came to see him and the film.  He signed a ton of autographs, took photos and chatted with fans.  I bet there is a ton of Instagram photos out there right now for this film in Chicago.  Share it all!!!!

Here are the details from tonight's event;
Star Mark Wahlberg and director Allen Hughes will meet fans and host a special advance screening of their new film, BROKEN CITY, in Chicago. It's so great to have a little bit of Hollywood A listers to visit us.

About the film "Broken City" when disgraced cop turned private detective Billy Taggart (Mark Wahlberg) is hired by NYC’s mayor (Russell Crowe) to tail his wife (Catherine Zeta-Jones), he uncovers a city-wide conspiracy of corruption, sex, and murder.  With his life threatened at every turn, Billy finds himself faced with an impossible choice, which could have disastrous repercussions for his career and family.

BROKEN CITY opens nationwide on Friday, January 18, 2013. The film has been rated “R” by the MPAA for “pervasive language, some sexual content and violence.”

The only negative about tonight's event is that we had no Russell Crowe and Catherine Zeta-Jones, that would have been the big event to start off 2013 Chicago Hollywood spectacular.
