Halle Berry and Morris Chestnut in Chicago for movie screening at Showplace Icon

Morris Chestnut and Halle Berry, Chicago, February 28, 2013


Oscar winning actress Halle Berry and Morris Chestnut were in Chicago tonight for the screening of the film “The Call.”  The Call is scheduled to open nationwide on March 15, 2013 through Tristar Pictures.  Berry and Chestnut did interviews throughout the day and on the red carpet where they met fans.  After press red carpet event the two went in for the film screening and staying till the end. The event is sponsored in part by WGCI Chicago Radio and ClearChannel.

“The Call” is about  a veteran 911 operator, Jordan (Halle Berry), who takes a life-altering call from a teenage girl  who has just been abducted, she realizes that she must confront a killer from her past in order to save the girl's life. Morris places Officer Paul Phillips in the film.

Halle Berry originally from Ohio, made her way to Chicago in the 1980s to pursue a career in acting. To many she is a hometown Chicago girl and the fans tonight told her just that.  Welcome back Halle!
