Archdiocese of Chicago Catholic Schools Kick Off Year of Parents

This week, we begin the Year of Parents in the Archdiocese of Chicago Catholic Schools!

Officially, it will be known as the Year of Strong Catholic Parents and the Catholic schools are excited to be a part of it. This is the third year of the Archdiocesan Strategic Pastoral Plan, and we are grateful for the leadership of the Department of Parish Life and Formation for orchestrating each year - Teens and Young Adults, Sunday Mass, and now Strong Catholic Parents.

Across our Catholic schools, we’ll be using the abridged title of the Year of Parents. This is to broaden the theme to include the thousands of families in our schools who are not Catholic. Because our schools are open and welcoming places for any family who wants their children to experience the faith, focus and achievement we offer, we are embracing this theme and bringing it to all our families.
