Magnificent Mile Lights Festival is Not Just the Tree Lighting Parade

The Magnificent Mile Lights Festival is not just the Tree Lighting Parade with Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse and Santa with magnificent floats, giant helium-filled balloons, lively marching bands, classic characters from Walt Disney World marching down the center of Michigan Avenue.

It has to do with shopping on Michigan Ave.  And a little known fact that allot of people don't know is the act with do live performances in the parade also so a full set during the day. The set runs about 30 to 45 minutes.
