Pop/rock artist Mikey Wax's show at Evanston's SPACE Tuesday, September 9th, supporting artist Brendan James. Mikey's label debut album just released on Toucan Cove/Universal Music, and has been building solid momentum. The first single "You Lift Me Up" just passed 3 million Spotify streams, and has hit the Billboard top 100 radio airplay chart. It is receiving airplay on stations around the country, and is about to begin receiving spins on SiriusXM's The Pulse starting next week. Additionally, Mikey will be American Airlines featured "Artist Of The Month" this October, where his music will reach over one million unique listeners on all flights.
In the TV/film world, Mikey has an upcoming song feature in the ABC Family show Switched At Birth. He also just wrote & performed the end-title track for the upcoming motion picture The Road Within starring Dev Patel, Robert Sheehan & Zoe Kravitz. Prior to being signed, Mikey's music had been featured on So You Think You Can Dance, the NBC Olympics, Dance Moms, & Pretty Little Liars, among others. He also has performed over 200 house concerts in his fans homes nation-wide, & now hosts 100,000+ social media fans.
