Hall of Famer Joan Jett makes it back to the Windy City showcasing her Greatest Hits
“Rock and Roll is an idea and an ideal” said Jett giving her speech in April as she and her band were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.  What a year for this rock icon.  She and her band are now rolling around the U.S. with the legendary band The Who which simply means a perfect night of immense rock hits to fill an entire evening.

As Joan Jett and the Blackhearts took stage it was just a punch one punch two of hit after hit.  She opened her set with her classic hit “Bad Reputation” then drove into songs like “Cherry Bomb”, “The French Song”, “Crimson and Clover”, and the Bruce Springsteen penned “Light of Day”. Joan also threw in one of her newer songs called” Make it Back” off her latest CD release called “Unvarnished”.  During her set there were photos of Jett displayed on the big screen behind the band showcasing her spanning career.
The crowd got on its feet when her biggest hit “I Love Rock and Roll” started and she ended the night with “I Hate Myself for Loving You”.

Check out The Who Hits 50! tour and see rock music at its finest.
