Coming together in October 2014 over a mutual love of Descendents, The Clash, The Cars and Stiff Little Fingers, The Kenneths quickly recorded their debut E.P 'It's The Kenneths' after just three rehearsals.
Composed of guitarist and vocalist Joshua Weller, bassist Lewis Maynard and drummer Aicha Djidjelli, the band garnered a reputation for their turbulent live shows, playing whenever and wherever they could. It's better than booze and drugs put together. It's a filthy, sweaty, sing-along great time. It's The Kenneths.

At the same time they earned the support of Mumford & Sons bassist Ted Dwane, their co-manager. The Kenneths are hoping to continue their hot streak with E, the band’s forthcoming sophomore EP.

'E' is our 2nd E.P in four months. All we care about is playing live, and we really captured that with this E.P. The songs are super raw and bouncy, we tried to cut out all of the fat," notes vocalist and guitarist Joshua Weller. "Everything you hear is live. We're a live band so the main goal was to try and capture the energy and explosiveness of the live shows. We even got people to sit in the room while we were recording to make it feel more like a show," added bassist Lewis Maynard.
