Next weekend, Surge for Water will host a gala at the opulent Bentley gallery at Chicago’s Gold Coast with all benefits going towards ending poverty in undeveloped countries.
The Fall Gala will take place on Saturday, September 26, at
8:00 pm. What better
reason is there to attend a swanky gala and view Bentley’s and Ferraris than to
benefit those less fortunate?
Surge for Water
is a local non-profit that raises money to aid developing countries. This
year’s gala theme, MOMENTUM acknowledges the great success they’ve had with
fresh water and sanitation efforts, but urges a continued commitment to economic
change.
Ticket holders
can expect to mingle with Chicago movers and shakers while sipping fine wine
and signature cocktails and nibbling on specialty hors d’oeuvres. Entertainment
will be provided by DJ AO and Darmata. There will also
be a glamour station and a photo booth, and a fun after party.
VIP entrance
includes private early access, exclusive whisky, wine and gourmet cheese
tastings, and exclusive entry to the after party at Shay.
100 percent of ticket sales fund safe water, sanitation and education projects.
Tickets are
available for purchase online at Surgeforwater.org. Early bird tickets start at
$65 & $85 (VIP) for a limited time; regular tickets start at $85 & $95
(VIP).
