ADDS SPOTLIGHT AS CLOSING NIGHT FILM

has been added to the 51st Chicago International Film Festival as its
Closing Night selection. One of the Fall's most talked about and
anticipated Festival films, Spotlight
be shown at the 51st Chicago International Film Festival on Thurs, Oct
29, 2015 at 7:00pm at AMC River East (322 E. Illinois St, Chicago). The
film is scored by one of this year's Festival's Career Achievement Award
recipients, Howard Shore.
Spotlight adds to the list of Oscar contenders screening at the 51st Chicago International Film Festival, which also includes Carol, Brooklyn, Where To Invade Next, and 45 Years. The Hollywood Reporter asks, "Can 'Spotlight 'deliver Michael Keaton's first Oscar?"

most trusted institutions. When the newspaper's tenacious "Spotlight"
team of reporters delves into allegations of abuse in the Catholic
Church, their year-long investigation uncovers a decades-long cover-up
at the highest levels of Boston's religious, legal, and government
establishment, touching off a wave of revelations around the world.
Directed by Academy Award-nominee Tom McCarthy, Spotlight is a tense
investigative dramatic-thriller, tracing the steps to one of the biggest
cover-ups in modern times.
