51st Chicago International Film Festival Add Spotlight as Closing Night Film

ADDS SPOTLIGHT AS CLOSING NIGHT FILM

(CHICAGO, Oct 6, 2015) - Spotlight has been added to the 51st Chicago International Film Festival as its Closing Night selection. One of the Fall's most talked about and anticipated Festival films, Spotlight be shown at the 51st Chicago International Film Festival on Thurs, Oct 29, 2015 at 7:00pm at AMC River East (322 E. Illinois St, Chicago). The film is scored by one of this year's Festival's Career Achievement Award recipients, Howard Shore.

Spotlight adds to the list of Oscar contenders screening at the 51st Chicago International Film Festival, which also includes Carol, Brooklyn, Where To Invade Next, and 45 Years. The Hollywood Reporter asks, "Can 'Spotlight 'deliver Michael Keaton's first Oscar?"

"Spotlight'has everything we love about movies -a great cast, an intriguing story, and just the right dose of controversy," says Founder & Artistic Director Michael Kutza. "Each year, we make a point to bring films to Chicago that aren't just entertaining, but important and vital works of art. 'Spotlight' is one of those movies."
