Heavy metal meets horror this weekend in Chicago

With a line-up that includes members of the bands Anthrax, Megadeth, Korn - - - oh, and none other than the almighty king of “shock rock” himself, Alice Cooper, one might think this is the schedule for a pretty awesome music festival but it's actually something entirely different.

Happening this weekend, November 18, 19, and 20 at the Chicago Marriott Schaumburg, the annual Days of the Dead horror convention will feature actors from an array of horror films and cult classics, but also has several of our favorite metalheads on board this year as well.

Anthrax drummer Charlie Benante, Korn guitarist Brian "Head" Welch, Megadeth bassist David Ellefson, and as previously mentioned Alice Cooper will all be making appearances throughout the weekend and greeting their fans.
