Chef John Hogan, Chef Mindy Segal, and Restaurateur Fred Hoffmann Each Given a Day of Honor in Chicago
Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel has proclaimed February 15, 2018, to be “Fred Hoffmann Day in Chicago”; February 16, 2018, to be “Chef Mindy Segal Day in Chicago”; and February 17, 2018, to be “Chef John Hogan Day in Chicago”; all leading up to their inductions into the Chicago Culinary Museum and Chefs Hall of Fame https://www.thechicagoculinarymuseum.org/.
All three culinary innovators will be formally inducted at an event open to the public on Saturday, February 17, 2017, at The Palmer House Hilton located at 17 East Monroe in Chicago from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The induction ceremony will precede the For the Love Of Chocolate http://ftloc.org Foundation’s thirteenth annual fundraiser, and tickets purchased for the Chefs Hall of Fame induction event will include attendance at Whimsy: A Dessert Dream Brought to Life http://ftloc.org/event/whimsy-dessert-dream-brought-life, until midnight.
