Matt Forte and the CIRCLE Foundation Honors Educators and Students on March 18, 2018

The guest of honor for the Circle Foundation 9th Annual Gala and Awards Dinner was retired NFL Chicago Bear Matt Forte. Forte honored Chicago educators, students and many others who help our at-risk youth. The gala event was held at Alhambra Palace in Chicago on Sunday, March 18, 2018.


Matt Forte was a professional National Football League running back who started his career with the Chicago Bears from 2008-2015. In 2016, Forte signed with the New York Jets for 2 seasons. He announced his retirement from the game February 28, 2018 after 10 seasons in the NFL.

Today, Matt Forte and his wife Danielle support at risk children with their "What's Your Forte?" Foundation. This past weekend Forte teamed up with The CIRCLE Foundation at the 9th Annual
Awards Gala and Dinner honoring educators and deserving students from Innovations High School (located in Downtown) Chicago. This past weekend, Matt Forte and his foundation “What’s Your Forte?” joined the Circle Foundation for the second year in a row to award a select group of students with college scholarships. New to this year's gala is the Pre-Gala Celebration at the Bulls vs. Cavaliers game which was held at the United Center on March 17, 2018.

The CIRCLE Foundation remains true to their mission to establish an institution to inspire, motivate and empower people to develop to their highest aspirations.  The 9th Annual Awards Gala and Dinner honored those educators and deserving students from Innovations High School (located in Downtown) Chicago.  With support from Matt Forte and his foundation “What’s Your Forte?,” the Circle Foundation has for second year in a row awarded a select group of students with college scholarships.
