Chicago's Lollapalooza 2018 Starts Today in Chicago
Over 120 bands and more than 130,000 people will come to Chicago this weekend to enjoy music, food, art and festivals. Lollapooza will take over the Chicago Lakefront and Grant Park for 4 days of music. The big headliners making news traffic are Bruno Mars, Travis Scott, Camila Cabello, and Taylor Bennett. Those are the names when listening or watching Chicago news networks. There is so much more to see including Jack Black, Greta Van Fleet, Vampire Weekend, CKY, Dorothy and over 100 other artists. As with many festivals now, you want air conditioning start dishing out the bucks. Lollapolooza is as much a music festival for the world as a big business capitalist with it's own old world cast class system. The regular price of a ticket gets you general admission but if you are willing dish out your savings or max your credit card you can get water for hot Chicago August. That is correct the few who can afford VIP Access get tents, air conditioning, private viewing, front stage access, all that good stuff first class allows. Who says capitalism does not exist at Lollapalooza. The hypocrisy of fairness to bring music and entertainment.. Lollapalooza back in 2007 was open to just about everyone and only a few cabana's, now it's all along the concert stage. A four day VIP pass can cost you close to $2500; Platinum Package over $4,000. What's next exotic animals for the royal zoo. For many this is a monthly salary. This is the luxury only kings and queens could afford. So royalty and it's privileges flourishes in Chicago.
"Let them eat cake!"
