Song and Stories with Taylor Iman
Gary, Indiana native Taylor Iman is quickly making a name for herself with her unique brand of pop sultry soul. The dynamic actress, dancer and singer began her career performing in local theatre productions while in high school. After being accepted into the prestigious Disney Dreamer Academy, Taylor went on to perform in a number of productions including The Wiz, Les Miserables, and Phantom of the Opera. She has graced the stage at the world famous Apollo Theatre and appeared on The Steve Harvey Show, as well as opened for a number of pop mainstays such as Mario and Jordin Sparks. Taylor performs at acclaimed journalist Soledad O'Brien's annual birthday party at her personal request.
Taylor will take the stage at Davenport’s to play selections from her upcoming EP release, Motion Picture. Songs & Stories is an intimate night of live music with artists sharing unique stories about the songs performed and how they came about in the tradition of classics shows like MTV’s Unplugged and VH1’s Storytellers.
