Dunkin Donuts with a Smile in Chicago Loop - Madison between Franklin and Wells
I have been attending some training just around the corner from the Dunkin Donuts on Madison between Franklin and Wells. A young lady who is the manager has served me coffee each morning at this Donkin Donuts on all occasions since July of 2010. I just cannot express how good it feels when someone greets you with a wonderful smile, says "Good Morning," and "how Are you today?" She never failed to greet me with a smile, as all the other patrons, at this Dunkin Donuts. Just to let you all know that I get DD coffee just about every day downtown, or in the neighborhood where I live, from a half a dozen or more DDs stores. I also on occasion will visit other coffee houses and never get a genuine greeting. Most of us are just too damn busy, even some folks will not make eye contact with a customer. It don't matter in retail or other setting. However this young lady welcomes you and enjoys the people she is serving behind the cash register. I want to say thank you to her for warm, kind and genuine "Good Morning" welcome. She made the beginning of my day great. This young lady is a gem to any employer. She has made me, a customer, feel better and warmed up my inner soul.
