Helen Hunt gets a Silver Hugo Award at the 48th Chicago International Film Festival

Hunt Attended Special Presentation of Ben Lewis’ “The Sessions,” October 20th, AMC River East

WHO: Actress Helen Hunt, Academy Award®, Golden Globe® and Emmy Award® winner.

WHAT: Will attend a special presentation of Ben Lewin’s “The Sessions.” Hunt accepted the Silver Hugo Award for her breadth of work and participate in a post-screening Q&A session. The red-carpet event is presented by the Cinema/Chicago Junior Board.

WHEN: Saturday, October 20th
WHERE: AMC River East 21 Theater (322 E. Illinois St.).

Academy Award®, Golden Globe®, and Emmy® award winning actress Helen Hunt (“As Good As It Gets,” “Castaway”) will attend the Special Presentation of Ben Lewin’s much anticipated film “The Sessions”, October 20 at the AMC River East. Based on the poignantly optimistic autobiographical writings of California-based journalist and poet Mark O’Brien and co-starring John Hawkes and William H. Macy, “The Sessions” tells the story of a man confined to an iron lung who is determined, at age 38, to lose his virginity.

Hunt will accept the Silver Hugo for her breadth of work and participate in a post-screening Q&A session.
