Gabrielle Union at Chicago Screening of Being Mary Jane

Gabrielle Union visited Chi-town last week for a private screening of BET’s Being Mary Jane. The luncheon was held at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Chicago and the room was filled with local journalist and editors from Ebony Magazine, Jet, and “Mr. Chicago” himself, George Daniels. The screening was laid back with Gabrielle and her Being Mary Jane costar Richard Roundtree first saying a little about the upcoming season and thanking the audience for their support.

Then Union and Roundtree sat with the audience and viewed the hour-long episode set to air January 7, 2014. In the new episode, Mary Jane Paul still struggles to have it all as most career women do. Mary Jane has a new boy toy, but can’t get over her two-timing ex. That along with a demanding TV job and family stress keeps Mary Jane on an emotional rollercoaster. The first episode of Being Mary Jane has something for ladies and the men as Mary Jane seesaws between two hunks and has a surprising love scene with one that everyone will be talking about.

Catch the new episode of Being Mary Jane on January 7 at 9pm (CST.) New episodes air Tuesdays at 9pm!
