New Single "Young Volcanoes" Climbing the Charts at Radio, Catch FOB & Paramore on MONUMENTOUR This Summer

Fall Out Boy have shared the video for "Rat A Tat" which is part 9 of 11 in their mini-movie series Save Rock and Roll: The Youngblood Chronicles. The song and video feature Courtney Love Cobain at her snarling best. As PopMatters put it, "The frantic n’ furious 'Rat A Tat' hammers on the door with a familiar voice that spells T-R-O-U-B-L-E. 'It’s Courtney, BITCH!' Ms. Love then proceeds to recite a raucous 'Patti Rants Rimbaud'-rap whilst the music spins like Bloc Party’s 'Helicopter' toward a golden pop rainbow sweep of a chorus before the neighbourhood Warriors chant it out of town. A-ruddy-mazing." Or you could take Grantland's word for it that the song "finally hands Courtney Love the role she was born to play, that of Mark. E. Smith."

The band teased the video release with a unique integration with Shazam. Users who tagged FOB songs this week were rewarded with an exclusive trailer featuring Courtney Love Cobain for the "Rat A Tat" video. Behind the scenes photos of Courtney and the band are also up, with commentary from Pete Wentz, at Rolling Stone.

FOB's new single, "Young Volcanoes" is racing up the Modern Rock chart at radio and already has over 6 million plays on YouTube. Save Rock and Roll (Decaydance/Island Records) is the gold certified fifth studio album from the GRAMMY-nominated band and features the multiplatinum hit “My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark (Light Em Up).” Save Rock and Roll debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Top 200 and #1 on iTunes in 27 countries when it was released in April. This is the band’s second #1 debut; Platinum selling “Infinity On High” topped the chart in 2007 which followed multi-platinum breakthrough album “From Under The Cork Tree” released in 2005. FOB have appeared on the cover of Rolling Stone, performed on Saturday Night Live, The Today Show, Conan, The Late Show with David Letterman, Jimmy Kimmel Live and many more. They wrapped up 2013 with an appearance with Taylor Swift at the Victoria's Secret fashion show and led 2014 by winning "Best Alternative" at the Peoples Choice Awards.

FOB and Paramore are co-headlining this summer's MONUMENTOUR is amphitheaters across the US.
