BOSTON On Tour In 2014! And Coming To Montrose Beach

ICONIC BAND BOSTON IS TEAMING UP WITH SEA SHEPHERD ON THEIR 2014 NORTH AMERICAN SUMMER TOUR

Montrose Beach, Chicago, IL. — Following the release of their sixth album, Life, Love & Hope, BOSTON is kicking off their highly anticipated summer North American, “Heaven on Earth,” tour, and has teamed up with Sea Shepherd Conservation Society to benefit the organization’s vital conservation work in defense of ocean wildlife. BOSTON, the iconic band who to date has sold more than 31 million albums in the US, has invited Sea Shepherd Onshore Volunteers to staff outreach tables at selected shows on the tour, which just launched on June 5th in Hollywood, FL, in order to garner support and educate fans about the imperiled state of our oceans. The band will also feature Sea Shepherd video footage during each show to spread awareness about the urgent need for direct action ocean conservation to thousands of their fans. One lucky Sea Shepherd or BOSTON fan will have an opportunity to win a pair of tickets to see the show and meet members of BOSTON at select shows where Sea Shepherd conducts outreach. At select shows, there will also be a promotional sale of the BOSTON Greatest Hits CD, including the chance to win an Epiphone guitar signed by BOSTON’s Tom Scholz. Net proceeds of the guitar contest will be split between Sea Shepherd and the Shriners Hospitals for Children. This welcome partnership has been many years in the making. Band founder and leader, Tom Scholz, first became aware of the important work Sea Shepherd founder Captain Paul Watson was doing in 2007 at an animal rights conference they both attended where Captain Watson was a speaker and where Scholz received an award. A longtime animal protection advocate, Scholz became a fan of Captain Watson and Sea Shepherd and has wanted to become more involved with the organization ever since. He saw this tour as the perfect opportunity to make good on that wish

Reserved seating is available at $106.50 / $79.88 / $69.23 per ticket and General Admission tickets in the sand are $37.28 each. Ticket prices are subject to applicable taxes and fees. General Admission ticket holders are welcome to bring blankets or lawn style chairs to set up on the beach. Event will take place rain, shine or any other weather conditions. No refunds will be issued and no outside food or beverages will be allowed.

The nearest physical address to the beach is 200 Montrose Drive, Chicago, Illinois, 60640, located near The Dock at Montrose Beach restaurant who will be providing food and beverage services. A limited number of parking passes are on-sale now and can be purchased online in advance of the show at RIGHT HERE. Concert attendees are encouraged to take Chicago public transportation that runs nearby to the area with CTA Busses, #78 Montrose, #81 Lawrence and #151 Sheridan, plus the CTA Red Line stops at Wilson and Lawrence.
