The Salute to MTV¹s Teen Wolf Convention Comes to
Chicago for the First Time June 28-29, 2014
(Rosemont, IlŠ February 6, 2014) Following in the footsteps of notable genre franchises including Star Trek, Star Wars, The X-Files, Supernatural and The Vampire Diaries, MTV's hit series Teen Wolf will be honored at its first fan convention in Chicago area being held Saturday and Sunday, June 28-29 at the Hyatt Regency O¹Hare Hotel.
Creation Entertainment, the Glendale, Ca. based company that has produced events for fans for over 40 years, is behind this newest gathering. As hundreds of fans have already signed up for the convention, called "Days of The Wolf", attendees are literally coming from all over the world.
"It is quite evident by the large, loyal and dedicated on-line following that Teen Wolf and it cast was getting that it was becoming a fan favorite, said Erin Ferries, Vice President of Licensing, of Creation Entertainment, ³When we started to get so many requests to do a convention for the series we knew the time was right.
In person celebrity guests, each appearing on stage, signing autographs and taking pictures with attendees (photo ops) will include Tyler Hoechlin (Derek Hale on Sunday), Holland Rogen (Lydia Martin, on Saturday), Linden Ashby (Sheriff Stilnski, on Sunday), Seth Gilliam (Dr. Deaton, on Saturday), Charlie Carver (Ethan, on Saturday), JR Bourne (Mr. Argent, on Sunday), Orny Adams (Coach Bobby Finstock on Saturday and Sunday) and Keahu Kahuanui (Danny Mahealani on Saturday and Sunday).
In addition to celebrity appearances, the non-stop auditorium show will include costume and trivia contests, no minimum bid auctions of unique collectibles and one-of-a-kind items, and special music videos. Also not to be missed will be merchandise area featuring ³Wolf² worthy collectibles.
General admission tickets, which guarantee a seat in the theatre to see all the stars, are at $20 for Saturday and $30 for Sunday. There are additional charges for autographs and photo ops with the celebrities. Show hours are 9:30 AM 7:00 PM and Sunday, 10:30 6:00 PM (tentatively).
