Horse of Honor (Clark and Wacker) |
Last week Chicago unveiled the Horses of Honor, presented by the Chicago Police Memorial Foundation.
The pictured horse is dedicated to Police Officer (P.O.) Casper Lauer whos life was taken on on September 18, 1854. To learn about P.O. Casper Lauer. This horse for the Chicago Horses of Honor was designed by artist Pat Skly and sponsored by Wintrust. It current stands on the southeast corner of Clark St. and Wacker. Go check it out.
Currently 20 Horses of Honor have been unveiled, with the rest scheduled for the night of October 15, 2014 at various locations on Michigan Avenue. Head to Horses of Honor website to find out more about the project, locations, such artiss ad Pat Skly and sponsors.
