Verre, the sexy, seductive quintet from Southern California has been capturing the hearts and minds of an ever-growing fanbase with its unique brand of decadent pop. Today, the band premiered a remix of their hit single “BLU” exclusively via Indie Shuffle.
“It’s time to get the Los Angeles-based pop group, Verre, on your radar,” declared Hillydilly, “because their second-ever released track, “BLU” might just be one of your favorite new songs.” The remix (by FourNames) is just as satisfying, featuring pulsating beats and ethereal vocals.
“Imagine Sia, Vanessa Paradis, Goldfrapp, Brazilian Girls and Lana Del Rey rolled into one sensual musical delicacy,” describes Pop Dose. “Now that’s what I call a spicy meatball.”
Even the band’s name, which translates to “glass” in French, suggests the kind of elegance that makes heads turn. Comprised of Alice (vocals), Brandon (drums + piano), Chris (guitar), Kristina (bass) and Mike (guitar), the band has generated a significant amount of buzz over its latest track, “BLU.” “It’s possibly the most exciting thing we’ve heard this year,” declared Going Solo in 2014.
In addition, Verre has started their “Frames” series, which will please fans with visualettes for three songs from their EP. Each song will be coupled with artwork, resulting in a unique framing concept. Check out the first one for “Blu” here.
"Verre forgo the traditional video with Frames, a series of visualettes that match their music with moving artwork. The Southern California group’s first clip highlights their beautiful, haunting, The Night VI-esque single."
