MAMBY ON THE BEACH SET TO TAKE OVER CHICAGO IN JULY; LINEUP ANNOUNCED AND TICKETS ON SALE!

This summer React Presents is ecstatic to announce Mamby on the Beach, Chicago’s newest two-day festival, taking place at a new and untouched lakefront venue on Oakwood Beach. This beautiful beachside festival offers a pristine view of Chicago’s gorgeous skyline, boasting two stages featuring live performances by established and legendary artists in the indie-dance world, plus a selection of the world’s most innovative house and techno producers.

Headliners include modern trailblazers EMPIRE OF THE SUN and PASSION PIT, who are coming off the highly-anticipated release of their third album, Kindred. Additional support from bands and live acts like the legendary Röyksopp, indie-electro tastemakers Phantogram, as well as Robert DeLong, Com Truise, Tanlines, and No Regular Play, showcase a wide spectrum of artists who incorporate live instrumentation into their performances and continue to bridge the gap between genre boundaries. Other artists contributing live performances are Classixx and Goldroom, plus DJ sets by indie icons James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem and Cut Copy.

Staying true to Chicago’s heritage as the birthplace of house music, Mamby stacked the lineup with genre-pushing producers including Art Department, who will be making their last Midwest appearance as a duo before their recently announced hiatus, along with Claptone, Matthew Dear, Cashmere Cat, Route 94, and George Fitzgerald. Mamby also features a slew of artists who will be returning to their Midwest roots, including Chicago house legends Felix Da Housecat and Farley “Jackmaster” Funk, Dirtybird’s leading lady J Phlip, disco-house producer Moon Boots, and the Chicago-based live trio Autograf.The inaugural event is slated for Saturday, July 11th, and Sunday, July 12th, from 1 PM – 10 PM, and is 18+.  Additionally, React Presents will provide numerous travel options for the festival with accommodations for premium parking, free shuttles from designated pickup areas, and a bike valet via the bike path which runs directly to Oakwood Beach. Free shuttle services will be available for all attendees from the CTA Cermak-China Town Red Line and Cermak-McCormick Place Green Line, and the McCormick Place marshaling lot, running from noon until 11pm each day. The location is also accessible by Taxi, Uber, and Lyft drivers to assure festival goers that their easy and safe commute is a top priority.
