Sromae To Perform at Lollapalooza

MAKES UNFORGETTABLE COACHELLA DEBUTCONFIRMED TO PERFORM AT LOLLAPALOOZA FESTIVAL IN AUGUST

Fresh off his breakout set at Coachella, Stromae will perform on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! tonight from 11:35PM/10:35CT. The appearance will mark the first time he performs “Carmen” on late night TV here in the US. Make sure to tune in for what’s bound to be another head-turning display from the global superstar, producer, and singer-songwriter.

Coachella turned out to be a landmark milestone for Stromae. Pulling out all the stops for the captive audience, Kanye West joined him on stage during a performance of their 2010 collaboration “Alors On Danse”—leading to one of the weekend’s most-talked about moments. Billboard described the set as “honest and emotive, effective and funny, confident and ambitious,” adding, “He’s a fully-fledged superstar in an up-and-comer’s body.” In addition to proclaiming him an “Artist to Watch,” Rolling Stone summed it up as “Best pop theatricality.”

Stromae recently teamed up with BuzzFeed to premiere his animated music video for “Carmen.” Amassing 7 Million views in a day, the video quickly went viral due to its sharp, smart message, literally setting the internet on fire with talk of the Tweetpocalypse. Watch “Carmen” here.

Stromae will return to North America this summer for a performance at Chicago's Lollapalooza Festival, and again for a massive fall headline tour along the east coast, culminating at the legendary Madison Square Garden on October 1st (full list of dates below).
