CHICAGO, July 7, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Windy City Smokeout, the foremost BBQ and country music festival in the Midwest, will return to Chicago on July 10-12, 2015
for the third annual festival. More than 35,000 guests are expected to
descend upon Grand Street near the Chicago River for a weekend-long
event where attendees are able to taste offerings from some of the best
BBQ talent around the country and hear many of country music's biggest

Windy
City Smokeout will also bring an impressive lineup of award-winning
country music stars and up-and-coming talent with nearly twenty acts of
music including GRAMMY-award winning Kacey Musgraves and GRAMMY-nominated Pat Green on Friday, July 10, ACM Breakthrough Artist of the Year Chris Young, Dan + Shay, Will Hoge on Saturday, July 11 and ACM 'Single Record of the Year' award winning artist and producer, Lee Brice, and Chris Stapleton on Sunday, July 12. WHAT'S NEW TO WINDY CITY SMOKEOUT THIS YEAR:
Windy City Smokeout will also host a number of special, ticketed events throughout the weekend. On Friday and Sunday evenings, Myron Mixon, three-time barbecue World Champion, author, and judge on TLC's BBQ Pitmasters,
will offer an authentic, Whole Hog Dinner. On Saturday, Revolution
Brewing will pair with Myron for a Ribs & Revolution ticketed
dinner. Adam Richman of Travel Channel's Man v. Food will host a BBQ brunch on Sunday, where
festival-goers can experience a brunch menu comprised of original
dishes from each of the participating restaurants, plus signature BBQ
sides paired with Bub City's famous Bloody Mary Bar and mimosas. Tickets to special events can be purchased at windycitysmokeout.com.

New
to Windy City Smokeout this year, at-home chefs will have the
opportunity to see how their homemade ribs stack up against their peers,
at the festival's first ever Amateur BBQ Rib Competition.
Contestants will cook their ribs for professional judges and finalists
will get to use Pitmaster Q3 Smokers, a favorite of BBQ professionals
everywhere, and consult with the festival's all-star pitmasters. This
year Windy City Smokeout will also cater to tastes across the board with
offerings from The Market at Summer House, Crave Bar, Doughnut Vault,
Supreme Lobster, La Colombe, and, shortly before it opens its doors in Chicago, Gus' World Famous Fried Chicken. Not to be outdone, the Windy City Smokeout craft beer program is a force to be reckoned with, offering a beer release party on Saturday and limited time only drafts from the following breweries:
