North Coast Music Festival hosts MVPs of Rock/ EDM/ Hip-Hop

This year’s North Coast Music Festival will have some of the most anticipated acts of the summer.

Some of the NCMF acts slated to perform like the Roots, Widespread Panic, Galactic, and D’Angelo and Vanguard, don’t frequently tour. But lucky festival goers and Chi town natives will get to peep some of the most coveted live acts all in one place. The North Coast Music Festival will take place September 4-6, 2015 at Union Park near the west loop.

Headliners for the show include the Chemical Brothers, alongside Wale, Steve Aoki, The Glitch Mob, Chromeo, Portugal. The Man, Kill the Noise, and Booka Shade. Check out the full lineup here.... http://bit.ly/NCMF15_Lineup.

Who are we most excited to see- well that would be a hodgepodge of EDM meets hip-hop meets brass. Fans won’t want to miss New Orleans legends in the making- Galactic and the Dirty Dozen Brass Band, with their lively instrumentals. I’m also looking forward to checking out some local favs like Future Rock, The Heard, and The O My’s.

Fans will also get to check out the Silent Disco, a rave tent where 30+ DJ’s will spin hip-hop, funk, house, disco, trance and everything in between. The Silent Disco will be open Friday – Sunday from about 8:00 am – 3:00 pm with acts including Otto, Select Inverse, JSquared, Mr. West, Edamame, Kool Hersh, Danger Wanye, Xonic, DJ White Owl, Kite!, Higher Learning, Fatboy, Fiyafly, Skyler Shores, DJ Intel, and Manny Muscles. Along with bursting the roof off the Silent Disco, fans 21 years + can party at the Heineken House, where house DJs will spin classic and contemporary dance cuts famous in Chi-town. DJs include Roy Davis Jr, Ronn Carroll, Terry Hunter, Moon Boots, and DJ Heather.
