BAHA MEN - ASSETS:
Grammy Award winning Bahamian band are prepping for their first album release in 10 years. The Baha Men will issue a brand new album Ride With Me this summer via Sony Music. The album is an infectious blend of world music, Junkanoo, and American Top 40. The album’s first single “Night & Day” is now impacting radio. The song was first featured on the 2014 Sony released FIFA World Cup compilation album “One Love, One Rhythm”, that also featured tracks by J Lo, Pitbull, Santana, Shakira, and many others.
Baha Men rose to success in 2000 with the multi platinum international number one smash “Who Let The Dogs Out?”. They also recorded a cover of Elton John's hit "Crocodile Rock" for the film Crocodile Hunter: Collision Course starring the late Steve Irwin and family. The band also made an appearance in the 1994 romantic comedy My Father the Hero starring Gérard Depardieu and Katherine Heigl.
"Who Let the Dogs Out?" earned the band several awards: a Grammy Award in 2000 for Best Dance Recording; 2 Billboard Music Award’s for World Music Artist of the Year and World Music Album of the Year; and a Nickelodeon Kids Choice Award for Favorite Song. In 2002, they won another Kids' Choice Award for Favorite Band. The band is currently managed by veteran music industry agent, concert promoter and artist manager Doug Isaac (Meat Loaf, Missing Persons, Katt Williams, Frank Sinatra, Joe Bonamassa, Kevin Hart etc.).
