Tickets Now on Sale for ‘Fare Thee Well: Celebrating 50 Years of Grateful Dead’ Broadcasted Live from Soldier Field to Select U.S. Movie Theaters

First Three-Night LIVE Concert Broadcast to Cinemas on July 3, 4 and 5

DENVER, CO – May 5, 2015 – Fathom Events, Peter Shapiro and Madison House recently announced that the epic three-night concert event “Fare Thee Well: Celebrating 50 Years of Grateful Dead” featuring the reunion of Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzmann, Phil Lesh, and Bob Weir at Chicago’s Soldier Field will be broadcast live during fourth of July weekend in select cinemas nationwide. This special celebration, the first-ever live three-night cinema event, will be held on July 3, 4, and 5, 2015 at 8 p.m. EDT / 7 p.m. CDT / 6 p.m. MDT / 5 p.m. PDT -- nearly 20 years to the day of the last Grateful Dead concert with Jerry Garcia, which took place at the same venue in 1995. Each concert will be uniquely different and the July 5 concert will be the last time the band will play together. The Soldier Field concerts received overwhelming fan response with more than 500,000 mail order ticket requests received earlier this year.

Tickets for “Fare Thee Well: Celebrating 50 Years of Grateful Dead” are now available at participating theater box offices and online at www.FathomEvents.com. The event will be presented in nearly 250 select movie theaters around the country through Fathom’s Digital Broadcast Network. The four original members —Hart, Kreutzmann, Lesh and Weir — will be joined by renowned musicians Trey Anastasio (Phish and the Trey Anastasio band), Jeff Chimenti (Ratdog, The Dead and Furthur), and multiple GRAMMY-winner Bruce Hornsby. The group will perform two sets of music each night.

These concerts will also be available as a Pay-Per-View special and streamed online.
